JOB TITLE: Product Manager-Plasma- Lakewood, CO based

JOB SUMMARY

Under minimal supervision, provides management in the areas of product direction and objectives, marketing strategies and sales tools, and problem resolution for assigned product lines. Works cross functionally on developed programs and to understand the needs of customers in the North America plasma market.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES



  • Collects, analyzes and resolves issues with competitor information. Tracks sales, develops and refines marketing, promotional, and pricing strategies.
  • Coordinates efforts with manufacturing, engineering, quality, sales, regulatory, corporate communications, legal and other functional areas to produce innovative products to meet customer requirements.
  • Provide high level of expertise on the assigned products by communicating internally and externally on product changes, direction and general information. Work closely with customers and cross-functional organizations to ensure successful product changes. Own communication with the customer on product changes.
  • Assists customers and sales associates by presenting product seminarsand marketing programs.
  • Manages assigned product lines with the highest level of expertise including communicating strategies, awareness of product inventory, manufacturing or quality problems, and application issues.
  • Maintains a close working relationship with various departments of the company to develop a fluid exchange of planning, forecasting, and marketing information with other functions.
  • Establishes and achieves sales and market share goals for assigned products by monitoring and analyzing business performance including sales vs. forecast (units, revenue, gross profit), actual vs. plan selling price, product mix, disposables utilization, competitor information, and other relevant marketing factors.
  • Develops and implements the introductory business plans for product enhancements to assure proper positioning and strategies.
  • Works closely with the sales organization and marketing managers to successfully identify business opportunities, support tools, and new marketing programs in a timely and high quality manner.
  • Coordinates the design and implementation of promotion, sales force collateral, and customer communication materials and documentation to ensure consistency with customers' needs and the system selling approach.



MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education

Bachelor's degree or, equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.

Experience

Minimum 5 years experience. Marketing of software products in medical device market is preferred.

Skills



  • Knowledge of sales/marketing strategic planning and program delivery.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking skills and the ability to solve problems and develop programs with creativity and good judgment.
  • Expanded knowledge of domestic market and global marketing strategy.
  • Ability to identify customer needs and market trends within the context of product and business capabilities and the ability to translate this assessment into workable strategy.
  • Ability to work effectively and comfortably with with all levels in the business organization.
  • Requires a thorough understanding of marketplace dynamics as they relate to product, price, promotion and distribution.


  • Knowledge and use of relevant PC software applications and skills to use them effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Target Pay Range:$87,300.00to$109,100.00 -Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data

Target Bonus on Base:7.0%
