The Risk Metrics and Analytics Specialist is a strategic professional responsible for identifying, developing, maintaining, and analyzing key risk metrics to support the effective management of business risks. This role requires understanding of risk management frameworks and methodologies, as well as the ability to communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure risks are effectively managed.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist to develop and maintain comprehensive risk metrics and dashboards to monitor business risks
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, correlations, and potential risk exposure, providing insights to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with business units to assess risk appetite, thresholds, and limits, ensuring alignment with the firms overall risk framework
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to improve risk controls and enhance the risk management framework
  • Assis to conduct comprehensive risk identification processes to pinpoint potential risks that could impact the organization
  • Utilize various risk identification tools and techniques to ensure potential risks are capture
  • Perform risk assessments to evaluate the likelihood and impact of identified risks
  • Prepare regular risk reports and presentations for senior management and risk control forums
  • Ensure that risk reporting is accurate, timely, and aligns with regulatory requirements
  • Continuously review and enhance key metrics and risk identification processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Leverage data analytics and technology to enhance risk management capabilities

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of experience in risk management, with a focus on risk management and data analysis within the financial industry
  • Strong understanding of risk management frameworks
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools e.g., Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, SAS, SQL, Visual Basic a plus
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present clear, actionable insights
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to see the big pictures with high attention to critical details
  • Effective organizational influencing skills required
  • Demonstrated ability to lead global team efforts

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$129,840.00 - $194,760.00
