Responsibilities

This position is remote and can be located anywhere in the United States.

We are seeking an ambitious intern to join our Global Business Services (GBS) team as a Technology Implementation and Optimization Intern, where you'll play a crucial role in enhancing our technology systems to drive efficiency and innovation. This position is designed for forward-thinking individuals who blend technical understanding with a keen interest in business processes. If you're passionate about leveraging technology to solve complex business challenges and eager to make an impact, this internship is for you.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Assisting with the rollout and customization of a new Contract Lifecycle Management System, ensuring it meets our business needs and integrates smoothly with existing processes.
  • Evaluating and optimizing current technology tools to maximize their utility and integration capabilities, focusing on vendor management and RFP management systems.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure technology solutions are aligned with strategic business objectives and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Documenting processes, creating training guides, and supporting the adoption of technology solutions across the team.
  • Engaging in projects that test and implement new technologies, aiming to improve departmental performance and drive innovation.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration with a technology focus, or a related field with an expected graduation date between December 2024 and June 2025.
  • A strong interest in technology implementation projects, with a keen eye for identifying process improvement opportunities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to assess both technical and business implications of proposed solutions.
  • Effective communication skills, capable of collaborating with both technical and non-technical team members.
  • Initiative-driven and capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • GPA 3.0+
  • Ability to commit 40 hours per week for 12 weeks during the summer of 2024.

Benefits

Compensation depends on the applicable US geographic market. The expected base pay for this position is $21 an hour.
