Content Creation Assistant

Description

The Content Creation Assistant will help with the coordination/setup of video and photo shoots, taking photographs and video of assigned programs. This person will be responsible for copywriting of Kroc program-related flyers, posters, web and social images, banners, and other collateral under the supervision of the Marketing Manager. This employee will create social media postings, think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts, and analyze the efficaciousness of content. The Content Creation Assistant will also assist in setting up marketing collateral displays for Kroc Center events.

Hourly Rate of Pay: $17.00

Hours Per Week: 20

Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree completed or in progress in Marketing, Videography, Graphic Design, Communications, Public Relations, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Experience with editing photos and videos to create crafted messages.
  • Ability to use DSLR and mobile cameras to create media.
  • Bilingual preferred English/Spanish.
  • Fluent with the Adobe Suite.
  • A genuine interest in learning and an ability to take direction and ask clarifying questions.
  • Excellent interaction and phone skills and an ability to communicate effectively and accurately.
  • Ability to be cordial, friendly, and professional in carrying out job responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated typing and organizational skills.
  • Interact professionally in all contact with the media, the public, and Salvation Army Officers and staff.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.


Responsibilities:



  • Help with coordination/setup of video and photoshoots.
  • Photograph and video events and programs as assigned.
  • Write copy.
  • Contributor to Kroc publications.
  • Copywriting of Kroc program-related flyers, posters, web and social images, banners, and other collateral under the supervision of the Marketing Manager.
  • Scheduling of branded design to various social media channels.
  • Work as part of the Marketing Team.
  • Think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts.
  • Create social media postings.
  • Analyze efficaciousness of content.
  • Summarize and report on engagement/outcomes.
  • Assist in setup of marketing collateral displays for Kroc Center events.
  • Perform other assignments/duties as related to the position of Content Creation Assistant.
