The HR Compliance Analyst at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center plays a vital role in ensuring adherence to all relevant HR policies, laws, and regulations. This position is responsible for conducting audits, monitoring compliance activities, and providing guidance to ensure the organization's HR practices align with requirements and best practices. The HR Compliance Analyst will collaborate with HR and organizational stakeholders to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions when necessary. This role will coordinate and maintain processes for reporting, onboarding, and compliance for temporary and non-employees.

This role will have the opportunity to work partially at our campus and remotely.



Responsibilities

    Support the continuous improvement, development, and enhancement of compliance program initiatives.
  • Conduct analysis of processes and procedures to ensure compliance. Create and maintain process documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to onboarding and background checks.
  • Provide guidance and support to HR team members and managers throughout the organization regarding reporting, onboarding of temporary employees and non-employees.
  • Perform and respond to internal/external audit and document requests.
  • Responsible for maintaining a collaborative relationship with key stakeholders and department leaders while providing timely resolution and/or communication of any issues.
  • Stay informed about current HR compliance trends and best practices.
  • Collaborate with other members of the HR Operations team on projects and initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years' experience in human resources
  • 1+ years' experience providing customer service in-person or virtually and via email
  • Advanced Excel experience
  • Ability to report, analyze, and present data
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience managing projects, timelines, and deliverables
  • Knowledge of employment-related federal and state statutes, laws, and regulations

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in healthcare or a research organization
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or Information Systems
  • Experience coordinating a contingent workforce program or function

The annual base salary range for this position is from $84,448 to $126,651, and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
