General Summary of Position: The Graduate, Online & Professional Studies team is seeking a part-time Support Specialist. This role is vital to supporting the needs of the Undergraduate & Graduate admissions, recruitment, advising, and student services teams through various administrative tasks, customer service and student support. A strong desire to provide top-tier customer service is a must. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; answering phones, processing paperwork related to student applications, processing registrations for non-matriculated students, entering transfer credit information, answering emails, updating and maintaining student records. Minimum Qualifications (Required):
Special Instructions to Applicants: Initial review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. However, the position may close when an adequate number of qualified applicants is received. This is an on-campus, part-time, non-benefited, non-unit position - 18 hours per week. The GPS office is open from 8:30 am- 5:00 pm, M-F. The ideal candidate will be available to work at least three shifts per week, with at least one shift until 5pm, and have Friday availability.
