Overview:

ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work remotely with our client. The Business Analyst III position will provide critical support for digital channels, including mobile apps and public-facing websites. This role includes supporting both project and production work. This full-time position is located in Portland, OR.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for multiple complex systems or applications.
  • Proactively anticipate and analyze client needs
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement initiatives to enhance the system to further business strategy and meet client needs.
  • Balance needs of various clients, internal teams and system and resource constraints and makes decisions to optimize system use.
  • Leads internal teams or collaborates with other internal teams to develop, prioritize, and implement initiatives.
  • Manage communications to multiple stakeholders adapting to individual needs.
  • Present status reports and recommendations to sponsors.
  • Communicate with IT and business.
  • Proactively recommend and implement system-based solutions in response to business issues.
  • Develop overall product strategy to meet business needs leveraging available resources.
  • Develop and implement detailed project plans, including cross-functional project plans.
  • Define work requirements, value criteria and cost/benefit ratios.
  • Proactively identify emerging business needs and adapts plans to meet them.
  • Prioritize initiatives in a way that balances new functionality with maintenance and reliability.
  • Negotiate with business on timing of implementation.
  • Prioritize releases and determines when functionality is ready for release.
  • Manage issues log and product backlog.
  • Collaborate with others to define acceptance criteria and ensures deliverables are met.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of combined experience in business analysis, operational process improvement, project management or equivalent combination of technical and operational experience.
  • PMP certification a plus
  • Technical certifications a plus
  • Product owner certification preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of business processes for area(s) assigned, reporting and analytics, project management, consulting, and business acumen
  • Ability to successfully collaborate with peers, managers and others within the organization.
  • Cognitive Ability to adhere to set response times, deadlines and time-sensitive tasks.
  • Respond and adapt to frequent change.
