Basic Function

Responsible for Managing the day to say evaluation, replenishment and accuracy of Materials Inventory in guidance with both CVO and Corporate policies and procedures.

Roles & Responsibilities

* Provide direct supervision and leadership to assigned personnel to ensure that warehouse activities are performed safely and efficiently to high quality standards.

* Provide guidance and support for Materials Inventory Technicians to develop technically to achieve MTIII competency level.

* Collaborate with maintenance peers to identify future material requirements and continuously improve the effectiveness of material stocking and delivery services.

* Continuously seek out and drive cost reduction projects and best practices related to Warehouse functions and work management systems.

* Participate in the development of weekly and daily work schedules.

* Lead tool-box Safety Meetings and Boardwalk reviews of progress against site and department goals.

* Ensure all applicable safety procedures are adhered to by Materials Inventory/Warehouse personnel.

* Manage Material Inventory/Warehouse activities and priorities to best fit business needs.

* Manage timely and effective work order, purchase order and receiving activities in SAP by the Warehouse staff.

* Review and learn the MOWP processes and procedures as it pertains to Materials Inventory/Warehouse functions.

* Participate and/or lead in incident investigations.

* Develop and manage performance of Materials Inventory Technicians on an ongoing basis

* Drives strategic evaluation of material to determine obsolescence and/or replacement.

* Work with the Reliability department to identify, inspect and classify all critical spares per the Annual Capital Review program.

* Evaluates and refines inventory levels to support the long term goals of inventory reduction and preservation.

* Insures all Materials Inventory annual inventory requirements are met and in compliance with Materials Inventory Policies and Procedures.

* Insures review with Procurement is ongoing for tracking of critical expedited parts.

* Oversees purchase of store stock materials utilizing MRP (Material Requirement Planning) process.

* Responsible for overseeing the process of identifying, tracking and repairing all stock to OEM standards.

* Oversee the analysis and process of material requests for adding, changing and deleting stock material through MDG (Material Data Governance).

* Manage the process and technicians responsible of Receiving, Kitting and Staging material on a daily basis, delivering according to the schedule, and in compliance with the MOWP process and procedures.

* Has knowledge of the MM Module of SAP and is the plant liaison with the Corporate Materials Management organization.

Min. Qualifications

* High school diploma is required.

* A minimum of 7 years of experience, preferably in a petrochemical, refining, manufacturing or equivalent an Associate Degree in a technical discipline with a minimum of 5 years of experience.

* Strong supervisory and team motivation skills.

* Strong verbal and written communication skills to delegate and report on activities.

* Proficient personal computer skills, application software skills, and experience with computerized. maintenance management systems: SAP and Excel experience is preferred.

* Knowledge of plant policies, specifications, and procedures.

* Strong planning and organization skills.

* Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and turnarounds (day or night) with short notice.

Preferred Qualifications

* Maintenance experience in a Warehouse is preferred but not required.

* Some previous supervisor experience is preferred but not a requirement.
