Shift Availability: (Monday-Friday)

Pay: $18 - 20/hr. (plus $1.00 shift differential)

The Forklift Operator will perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the pipe yard.

Essential Functions:

• Assist shipping and receiving by unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat, sweeping, dusting, mopping, and organizing.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of pipe yard and forklift experience and experience operating a heavy equipment industrial forklift (25K+ pounds).
• Forklift certification is required; experience handling pipe, both carbon and stainless steel, is a plus.
• Excellent work ethic, ability to work self-directed and as a flexible team player and ensure all safety rules are strictly observed.
• Sit, stand, use hands to handle or feel, sit, climb, or balance, have specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust and focus, and lift up to 50lbs occasionally.
