Job Description

Position Summary

The co-op student will be working on job assignments related to their functional human resources discipline.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Partner with leadership team on recruitment of qualified candidates for non-exempt positions.
  • Conduct and participate in coordinating and conducting new employee orientations, including company, job, safety, compliance, and benefits education.
  • Organize and maintain a digital storage system for employee files.
  • Work within HRMS system - Workday to enter and update employee records.
  • Assist HR Manager to review employee timecards in ADP and process payroll.
  • Partner with HR Manager to plan and coordinate employee engagement events.
  • Maintain positive employee relations by responding to questions regarding policies, programs, benefits, and other HR related matters.
  • Identify one HR-related area and project for focus over the intern/co-op period; present learnings in that area at the end of the assignment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education or Experience

  • Must have completed at least one year of college.
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or MBA in Human Resources
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential matters and understand company policies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • 3 to 6 month assignment

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $24.25 to $27.25 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. Employees will receive 0 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.
This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)).
