Macmillan Learning is seeking an energetic candidate who brings enthusiasm and vitality to our Student Engagement Account Manager, Team Lead role. The Team Lead for the Student Engagement Account Managers is responsible for supporting efforts and initiatives of the Specialist Manager, helping support the Enterprise Solutions Specialists in their efforts to increase sales of iClicker, student retention solutions and institution based solutions, and drive course-level sales, within an assigned territory of two and four-year accounts. Primary responsibilities include supporting Enterprise Solutions Specialists, retaining existing customers in conjunction with the Client Relationship Specialists, initiating sales engagement with potential customers, generating leads for new business and providing demos and training to new and existing customers at the course level. The Student Engagement Account Manager will occasionally travel to campus to conduct presentations, training sessions and events, as needed and in collaboration with the Enterprise Solutions Specialists, Client Relation Specialists and Macmillan Learning sales team. This role does not have managerial responsibilities. Salary: $60,000 - $70,000/year Exemption Status: Exempt Physical Requirements: Requires periods of close concentration, must be able to multitask, must lift 35 lbs. of books on sales calls, must be able to walk up to 2 miles a day on campus, must be able to sit/stand for long periods at conventions, must be able to concentrate in noisy/busy environment, and must be able to travel, including ability to drive for periods from 2 to 5 hours, depending upon the territory involved. A valid driver's license is required with daily travel within territory and frequent overnight trips. Attendance at national sales meetings and regional meetings is required (5 or more days). During the fall and spring selling seasons it is necessary to work more than 40 hours per week. During these seasons it is necessary to spend all day on campus and then complete paperwork, sampling, and expense reports in the evening.
