What you'll do The Field Service & Integration Engineer (FSE) is a key member of Viasat's Commercial Airline Support team, which helps deliver and maintain best-in-class In-Flight Connectivity (IFC) services to our Commercial Airline customers. The day-to-day As a Field Service & Integration Engineer, you will play a critical part in supporting existing customer aircraft and in the service launch of new customers, supporting system activations and over-the-air system checks for new installations of Viasat's onboard IFC solution. You will ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with Viasat procedures and airline manuals, following regulatory body requirements (FAA/EASA etc). Additionally you will collaborates with internal and external partners and be able to communicate optimally with diverse audiences including engineering teams, program management, customers, and third party partners & suppliers. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in commercial aircraft systems, specifically electrical and avionics equipment problem solving and testing and technical expertise to understand issues and develop solutions. It is an essential function of the position that the employee meets the safety requirements of the FAA. Salary range $95,800.00 - $166,700.00 / annually At Viasat, we consider many factors when it comes to compensation, including the scope of the position as well as your background and experience. Base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
