Purpose of Role

Through thought provoking content, drive customer value by giving information to help inform purchase decisions and position Yamaha as a thought leader in music.

Key Accountabilities Include

* Manage digital content projects and ensure they are completed on-time and deliver on the creative brief.
* Ensure blog traffic and engagement metrics are achieved.
* Ensure alignment with marketing teams on blog content strategy.
* Manage content and editorial calendars based on strategic goals, business priorities, and current events while keeping up on trends within social and digital while quickly capitalizing on strategies to attract views and traffic to Yamaha owned properties.
* Plan alignment, collaboration, and promotion among different digital communication channels.
* Ensure effective identification and provision of external resources (writers, blog editors, web/digital agency).
* Manage creative teams to develop content that provides value to customers within each stage of the purchase funnel while ensuring that content is original, on-brand, and authentic.

Primary Responsibilities Include

* Manage content strategy, UX planning, and designing for Yamaha Music blog.
* Manage blog writers and 3 rd party editors to develop content.
* Manage digital workflows for blog editorial calendar content.
* Measure and monitor blog metrics.

Qualifications
Ideal

* Experience managing or running an online blog or digital media platform.
* Previous work collaborating on the development of a comprehensive SEO strategy for driving traffic.
* Previous work or experience with content monetization.
* Demonstrates success developing and implementing digital content strategies.
* Experience with analyzing data and reporting insights.

Preferred

* Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field.
* Graphic design or video editing and/or production work that can be applied to social content.
* Knowledge and experience with SEO best practices.

Compensation:

  • Up to $ 81,000 per year
  • The posted compensation is the base pay.
  • This is the hiring range and does not include bonus potential or the value of benefits. The hiring range does not reflect total earning potential over time. Final offers within the posted compensation range are based on qualifications, skills and experience required for the role.
