Job Description
The Naval Nuclear Laboratory, Naval reactors Facility is seeking an ESH Compliance Engineer (Safety Professional) to support the Spent Fuel Handling Project (SFHP) construction of a new facility. This individual will work with the Quality and Safety Oversight team following a 4x10 telework hybrid schedule and use their expertise in applying safety and health requirements through surveillance of work and audits of compliance posture and efforts. Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a technical, engineering or science related field and 9 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a technical, engineering or science related field and 7 years of relevant experience; or Currently or previously Shift Supervisor Part II qualified; or qualified SIT and 3 years EOOW qualified in the Nuclear Operations Program; or Currently or previously CRE qualified; or 6 years as SRE; or SRE qualified and 9 years of experience.
