Assembly Line Worker

Advantage Resourcing seeks an Assembly Line Worker to join a local Manufacturing facility in Chattanooga, TN. This position starts as a temporary role, with the potential for permanent placement after a 90-day probation period.

Pay: $14.00 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift, Monday to Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm

The responsibilities and duties of the Assembly Line Worker entail assembling various components based on instructions outlined in the Pick Ticket. It's crucial to accurately read and comprehend these instructions, while also adhering to safety protocols and company policies detailed in the Employee Handbook. Additionally, maintaining an understanding of product assembly methods and quality standards is essential. The role may also involve performing general cleaning tasks as necessary. Depending on workload and project complexity, you may assemble orders ranging from simple components to more intricate arrangements. Collaboration with team members or the ability to work independently as required is also part of the role.

Qualifications:

• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Proficiency in rapid and accurate counting, basic math, and simple computer tasks.
• Focus and concentration on repetitive tasks.
• Capability to lift 30 - 50 lbs. and perform repetitive light lifting.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Competence in using basic tools safely, such as box cutters, razor knives, and tape guns.
• Basic communication and interpersonal skills.
