Job Title: Sr. Marketing Manager

Summary:
Vaco Staffing is performing a confidential search for a Marketing Manager on behalf of a leading global technology hardware supply chain solutions provider.
The Marketing Manager will lead strategic initiatives. This hands-on role involves crafting and implementing marketing strategies, enhancing digital presence, and leading the development of the marketing department.
  • The team seeks a Marketing Manager with extensive experience in spearheading innovative marketing initiatives in the areas of Supply Chain, Sourcingand Distribution services throughout the lifecycle of a company'sproduct.
  • The ideal candidate will have a robust background in managing large-scale events with substantial budgets and leading marketing strategies across international markets. This role requires a dynamic leader ready to build a marketing function from the ground up, starting as a one-person team with potential for expansion.
  • This role will initially be a solo department with the opportunity to build a team in the future.
Location: Onsite in Orange County, California. This position is a direct hire and is part of a confidential search. Vaco Staffing is working directly with the hiring manager. Exact work location and company details will be provided to candidates upon shortlisting.

Compensation: $100K-$150K (exempt), with the potential for a fiscal year-end bonus.
Hours: 8am-5pm, 100% onsite. Open to considering hybrid work arrangements for the right candidate, to be determined between HR and the selected candidate.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years marketing experience with 3-5 years in a leadership role. (Position will start off as an individual contributor but will eventually lead teams so leadership experience is essential)
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics and software.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing strategies in marketing globally.
  • Extensive experience spearheading innovative marketing initiatives in the areas of Supply Chain, Brokerage, Sourcing and Distribution services throughout the lifecycle of a company's product.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Initiatives: Spearhead region-specific strategic initiatives, incorporating digital outreach, creative content development, pivotal industry events, and targeted campaign drives.
  • Creative Assets: Craft and refresh a suite of creative assets to support branding efforts internally and externally, including informative brochures and dynamic presentations.
  • Event Coordination: Lead the orchestration of industry expos and corporate events to promote product visibility and company services.
  • Digital Presence: Direct the management of the digital portal to maintain current, engaging, and SEO-optimized content.
  • Online Engagement: Curate and elevate the organization's online engagement, with a focus on key social platforms, to foster community interaction.
  • Editorial Production: Generate captivating editorial materials, such as articles, in-depth guides, and video content, aimed at engaging the intended audience.
  • Cross-Functional Synergy: Drive collaboration across departments to ensure cohesive marketing strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Performance Insights: Analyze marketing initiatives' effectiveness, leveraging data to inform strategic decisions, and report key findings to leadership.
  • Financial Stewardship: Oversee the marketing budget, prioritizing investments in high-impact strategies for maximum efficiency.
  • Market Intelligence: Continuously monitor sector trends and competitor moves to identify strategic opportunities and inform planning.
  • Expansion Strategy: Design and implement entry strategies for emerging markets, pinpointing essential partnerships and customer targets.
