Overview This position is Sign-on Bonus eligible. In addition to the sign-on bonus, new teammates at Atrium Health are eligible for robust benefits packages and paid time off. Atrium Health Lincoln is a 101-bed hospital, designed with the community in mind. The facility opened in 2010, replacing a family farm. History from this farm can be seen and found on our campus today. 300,000 reclaimed bricks from a local mill, Belding-Hausman Mill, were placed into the exterior of the hospital and represent our dedication to the community we serve. The campus also has a 1.2-mile public walking trail that encircles the campus, winding past ponds and through natural wooded areas left intact on the land. The campus also includes two medical office buildings that house many providers offices and services that serve our community. Lincolnton is a small town, located in the foothills of the NC Mountains with access to hundreds of trails for hiking and outdoor activities. This peaceful, rural town has much to offer families and those seeking a charming close-knit community, while also being within driving distance to the bustling city of Charlotte, NC, and the thriving community of Lake Norman. Atrium Health Lincoln offers comprehensive maternity services in a warm and comfortable environment. Our birthing center, New Beginnings, has large spacious rooms where mom remains for the length of her stay including labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum. We practice mother-baby couplet care so that your newborn can be cared for at your bedside by the same nurse caring for you. In addition to our newborn nursery, we also have a level 2 nursery for babies requiring special care. A pediatric hospitalist is available to manage the care of these babies. We have state of the art infant security system to give you peace of mind during your stay. Job Summary Applies surgical technology skills to assist in providing patient care in the surgical suite while maintaining a safe work environment and performing all related job responsibilities. Ensures quality patient care during the operative procedure, and is constantly on vigil for maintenance of the sterile field.
Physical Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider required. Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology required or successful completion of military training program for Surgical Technology or Operating Room Specialist. Current certification preferred. |
