Senior Director, Ethics, Risk and Compliance

This Opportunity:

The Senior Director of Ethics, Risk and Compliance is a leadership
position responsible for expanding and growing Palladium's commitment to
sophisticated risk management and corporate compliance. You will serve as Palladium's change agent
with a strategic business focus. You
will focus on updating and monitoring the organization's form risk governance
framework and providing practical solutions to issues and concerns that impact
the organization's ability to fulfill its mission. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated
and skilled at collaborating with a variety of stakeholders globally. You will
have a keen interest in providing guidance to business stakeholders across a
variety of risk and compliance issues and be passionate about promoting our culture
of integrity.

Location and Compensation:

The position is based in Palladium's
Washington D.C. office.

For our prospective employees in the United States, please note
that the full-time equivalent annual base salary for this position is expected
to range from $143,000 - $215,000. and successful candidates may also be
eligible for additional, variable incentive compensation dependent on the role.

Please be advised that a final salary offer will be based on
various factors, including but not limited to your qualifications, education,
experience, skills, seniority, performance, and Palladium's business or
organizational needs.

Reporting and Supervision:

  • This role will report directly to the General Counsel

Primary
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Palladium's Risk Management program, including monitoring compliance with statutory and contractual government obligations
  • Oversee Palladium's global risk register, capturing and mitigating realized and foreseeable risks across Palladium's global activities
  • Administer Palladium's global helpline
  • Conduct and / or direct internal investigations, including collecting and reviewing information, interviewing witnesses and subjects, preparing investigation reports, and coordinating needed remediation
  • Prepare and deliver executive and board presentations on risk management and compliance initiatives
  • Supervise Palladium's Enterprise Risk Assessment and subsequent program enhancements. Drive program controls improvement efforts
  • Help develop, improve, and maintain third-party risk management controls and associated policies and procedures
  • Manage the company's global
    conflicts of interest program, including maintaining appropriate policies
    and procedures, overseeing conflict mitigation efforts, driving data
    analysis and insight, and workflow improvements
  • Draft and maintain corporate compliance and risk management
    policies and procedures
  • Assist in designing strategy and driving operationalization of
    policies, procedures, and guidance
  • Design and deliver live and web-based training across the organization
  • Prepare communication materials for diverse audiences to reinforce and support the risk management and compliance program. Assist in designing overall communications strategy
  • Contribute to and support data protection and privacy compliance initiatives, including monitoring and responding to legal and regulatory developments
  • Undertake special projects and support other risk management initiatives as needed

Key
Competencies Required:

  • Proficiency with U.S. federal contracting and procurement compliance obligations, including corresponding Federal Acquisition Regulation provisions
  • Extensive experience in risk management and / or regulatory compliance industry, predominantly in supervisory or management roles
  • Recent experience in U.S. government contracting compliance experience
  • Excellent problem-solving, written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and facilitate change; demonstrated vision to define and effectively manage strategies, change structures, and change processes necessary to address program priorities
  • Willingness to travel as required from 10% to 20% (both domestic and international)

Professional
Expertise/Competencies Preferred:

  • International development risk management and / or compliance experience
  • Experience working with multiple time zones
  • Experience and comfort working with data, including to measure program performance and effectiveness, inform priorities, and deliver insights to stakeholders
