Overview

The Senior Salesforce Quality Engineer ensures the health and progress of our product suite of security applications. As a Senior Salesforce Quality Engineer, you will be designing and implementing tests, debugging, and troubleshooting issues discovered, and making corrective actions within a fast-paced Agile development environment.

You will play a vital role in the development process. You will be responsible for working with software engineers to test cybersecurity products throughout their development and providing feedback to ensure that the products are free from errors and reliable. You will also be a leader and mentor for junior team members.

Salary Range: $94,400 - $142,900

What You'll Do

  • Participate in functional requirements and technical design discussions to plan for test development and provide meaningful feedback
  • Provide technical expertise and input into our overall product architecture planning and designs
  • Act as product feature expert and communicate product information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Set the example for team members with a mindset of continuous improvement and professional development
  • Develop functional test cases that represent business challenges and issues
  • Perform all types of testing as needed, including functional, regression, performance, and security
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and business analysts, to understand requirements and ensure the Salesforce configure, price, quote (CPQ) solutions meet business needs and quality standards
  • Identify, record, and track bugs and defects within the Salesforce CPQ platform, working closely with the development team to facilitate timely resolutions
  • Implement automated testing frameworks and tools to streamline the testing process for Salesforce CPQ projects
  • Conduct regression, smoke, and performance testing to ensure the stability and performance of Salesforce CPQ implementations
  • Continually evaluate testing approaches, tools, and stacks
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned


What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field*
  • 8+ years of relevant QA experience with enterprise class software in a mature engineering team
  • 4+ years of experience in Salesforce
  • Experience in testing automation using tools
  • Experience with SQL databases and writing SQL queries
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a remote team
  • Solid foundation in SDLC and working experience in the Agile Scrum process framework and Atlassian stack (JIRA, Confluence)
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies (e.g. Functional, Regression, SIT, P&L, UAT)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical team members
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

It's a Plus if you have:

  • 10+ years of relevant QA experience with enterprise class software in a mature engineering team
  • 6+ years of operational experience in Salesforce
  • Experience testing web-based and command-line applications
  • Proven expertise in Salesforce CPQ, with a solid understanding of its configuration, pricing rules, product setup, and quote templates
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Salesforce ADMIN or Salesforce CPQ Specialist certification is highly preferred
