Manufacturing Engineer Intern - 2 Positions

Job Overview

Title: Manufacturing Engineer Intern

Location: Buena Park, California

Type: Temporary Part-Time

Hourly Range: $23 - $24

Job Summary

The Manufacturing Engineering Intern is responsible for general support to the Manufacturing and Test Engineering team for the manufacturing and testing of power switching components and power distribution subsystem.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Supports the creation, releasing and controlling of Manufacturing Job Instructions
  • Provide support to the manufacturing/test engineers in various job duties
  • Supports all continuous improvement initiatives such as Productivity Projects
  • Establishes and documents Labor Time Standards
  • Maintain the highest ethical standards, even when challenged from above
  • Understand and live by Leach's ethics and business conduct policies
  • Performs other duties as required


Basic Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled or recently graduated from a four-year university, pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience in designing and modeling in AutoCAD
  • Experience with Altium (preferred)
  • Skills in Inventor, Word, Excel, Outlook and Visio
