Job Summary:

As a Supervisor- Environmental Health and Safety you will be responsible for ensuring safety awareness, identifying, and minimizing risk throughout the property.

Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Foster an environment that embodies Bally's Born to Entertain philosophy by creating a fun-filled, entertaining atmosphere
  • Enthusiastically promote Bally's customer-centric culture of offering superior guest service and actively building long-lasting guest relations
  • Conduct routine safety inspections throughout property and complete safety inspection reports
  • Conduct risk assessments, which involves analyzing risks as well as identifying, describing and estimating the risks affecting the property
  • Provides support, education, and training to staff to build risk awareness
  • Investigate property damage claims and losses, submits reports to the third-party claims administration and assists in property claims management.
  • Participate in the inspections and reviews of the Company's operations and facilities for risk management
  • Coordinate the Company's employee safety program.
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications:



  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board
  • Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred
  • Must have at least one to three years of professional progressive experience in risk and safety
  • Must have strong attention to detail
  • Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be proficient in the entire Microsoft Suite and be able to easily learn other software programs


Physical Demands:



  • Regularly required to see, talk, hear, walk, sit, and stand
  • Frequently required to use hands to handle, feel, and reach
  • Occasionally required to stoop
  • Occasionally lift and or move up to 30 pounds


Work Environment:

The work environment contains bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations.
