Vaco is hiring for a Dire Hire Senior Accountantfor a growing accounting team located in Kent OH. This role will be fully on-site.

Responsibilities
  1. Oversee and manage all aspects of the company's financial accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
  2. Handle financial reporting tasks, including preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.
  3. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and overseeing collections.
  4. Conduct regular financial analysis to assess the company's financial performance and identify areas for improvement or cost-saving opportunities.
  5. Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  6. Coordinate and liaise with external auditors to facilitate annual audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  7. Develop and implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and maintain financial integrity.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and management, to support business objectives and drive financial success.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in mental healthcare finance to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
  10. Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support to facilitate their professional growth and development.

Qualified Accountant candidates will have:
  • CMA or MBA
  • Experience with Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Five years or more of experience in the finance & accounting field
  • Demonstrated proficiency with applications involving business intelligence, accounting, financial reporting, and consolidations
  • Superb aptitude and proficiency with technology and business processes
  • Prefer hands on experience in accounting of non-profit/healthcare organizations and start up organizations
