General Summary of Position:

Granite is hiring talented individuals to participate in and drive system and process transformations which align with enterprise digital transformation and automation initiatives. The Business Analyst role will report to the AVP, Business Systems within the IT department. A successful candidate will have a desire to make a difference by collaborating with both business and technical partners focused on improving customer satisfaction, operational efficiencies, and the overall financial health of the business.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with various stakeholders in the organization to create system and process solutions to automate and refine business operations and customer support
• Requirements Analysis - Elicit and analyze the business, system, stakeholder, and transition requirements to achieve the business goals
• Document user stories and use cases - describe the interactions between the business functions, the solution, and individuals/teams
• Conduct business process modeling to understand and assess the gaps between current state and potential future state
• Assist with integration and testing of new solutions
• Enable change in the organization by surfacing current roadblocks/obstacles. Work through challenges as a team to drive towards desired outcome.

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years, business analyst experience or related business experience
• Must be able to clearly communicate, both written and verbal, with technical resources as well as non-technical users and management
• Process focused - ability to interact with stakeholders and decompose how value is delivered
• Robust analytical and problem-solving skills
• Intellectual Curiosity
• Experience with foundational business systems within Cash to Quote, Procure to Pay, and/or Record to Report

Preferred Qualifications:

• Salesforce software experience
• Communications Industry experience
• Data Analysis & Visualization
• Understanding of relational databases and data models
• Programming skills - SQL, R, Python
