About Us:

Avivo's Chemical Mental Health Division consists of three service areas: Community Chemical and Mental Health, Supportive Housing, and 245G Substance Use Disorder programs. We offer a continuum of integrated services, including access, clinical treatment, care coordination, supportive housing, and recover support. Your Role: Runner, Transitional Recovery Housing (TRH)

As a Runner, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of Transitional Recovery residents and team members. Your responsibilities will include purchasing and obtaining needed items for residents, performing daily pack-ups of resident leaving our facilities, collecting donations, picking up prescription medications and providing additional support to the Program Director.

What you will do:



  • Support operations and facilities within TRH to ensure high-quality, mission-driven services.
  • Collaborate with Program Manager, Program Supervisor, and Program Manager, Operations to meet programming and resident needs.
  • Demonstrate commitment to SAMSHA's definition of recovery and recovery principles.
  • Obtain resident needs as approved by Program Manager and Program Supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Help Program Manager, Operations in ordering and obtaining food, drinks, and snacks,
  • Monitor program supply needs and order/obtain as needed.
  • Actively participate in the division's Trauma-Informed Care Initiative and motivational interviewing.
  • Build and maintain collaborative working relationships with community partners.
  • Represent program area services at various community meetings and events.


Qualifications

What you will bring:



  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of working with single adults who have experienced long-term homelessness and/or chemical health issues.
  • Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate the needs of the participants, including occasionally work an evening and/or a weekend.
  • Access to a personal vehicle with a valid driver's license, proof of insurance and a clean driving record (mileage will be provided).
