The Designer/Drafter II prepares drafting projects, such as the preparation of various drawings of structures and equipment systems derived from layouts and sketches. This position follows established technical specifications to prepare drawings and assist in design drafting. The Designer/Drafter II also consults with engineers regarding model accuracy, design, and drafting standards. The position works closely with engineers to develop solid models and drawings, using Autodesk Inventor, to support New Product Development (NPD) and Sustaining Engineering initiatives. The position also works with groups outside of Engineering to support the Engineering Change Control (ECN/ECR) process.
