Web Developer/Graphic Designer General Job Description The client is looking for an experienced and talented Web Developer. In this role, you will be responsible for communicating strategic goals and a creative vision into actionable design solutions. You will translate brand strategy and creative vision into highly compelling, original, and defining work that advances the company's brand. The desired candidate will need be an accomplished visual designer, and brand-builder with demonstrated skills and interest in online/web branding, design, and mapping creative deliverables to business strategy. Areas of work may include, but not limited to: branding, website development, marketing-related communications, research/strategy, design, and editing. Be able to manage time and workload on creative projects to ensure timely production. Responsibilities: Independently conceptualizes complex designs for any type of digital or web project Manages and designs company website on WordPress Works with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and design user experiences, such as mobile responsive websites, digital campaigns, web applications, and creative marketing Optimizes (SEO) website performance Integrates web plugins Maintains and update the company's website and landing pages Writes and edits web and other marketing content Develops and maintains well organized image and file libraries Provides professional web design, graphic design, graphic editing, audio/video support, and specialized multimedia support, as needed, in the design, development, maintenance, and updating of graphic arts, multimedia, and digital marketing materials Contributes significantly to web-related and digital marketing projects as required within established timelines. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned Skill Requirements: Ability to quickly familiarize with brand goals and integrate brand experience into designs Self-starter who is able to handle tasks with limited supervision Ability to self-manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast paced environment Must have good verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in search engine optimization principles Ability to generate, articulate, and present creative ideas and strategies through effective communication Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, schedules, and deliverables Strong interpersonal skills that encourage team cooperation, promote enthusiasm, and motivate strategic thinking Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints Skilled in both Mac and PC platforms Minimum Experience Required: Education: Bachelor's degree in web design or related Job Field: Minimum (2) years of professional design experience This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
