Under general supervision, is responsible for preparing and tracking scheduled outage work schedules at Power Supply facilities.

  • Works with others to prepare fully coordinated plans and logical sequence of activities.
  • Coordinates construction activities with other business units including materials management, engineering, and construction.
  • Coordinates construction activities with other companies and contractors.
  • Communicates the plan to all company stakeholders who will play a role in successfully completing the work.
  • Provides work performance analysis on a per project, per crew basis to be used for crew performance valuations.
  • Counsels and advises personnel on assignments, maintains effective controls over accuracy of work performed, participates in such work as required to meet schedules, directs investigation of discrepancies, and analyzes abnormal conditions.
  • Leads work coordination meetings held with outage management leadership, plant leadership, and engineering leadership to coordinate planned outage workflow and takes the lead in planning and arranging work schedules to meet unexpected needs.
  • Maintains existing outage management cost tracking/forecasting access database.
  • Develops and administers Microsoft Access database applications and provides project team database management system support.
  • Plays a key role in managing non-engineered maintenance.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Vocational or technical training
  • Strong computer skills with verifiable experience in database applications and /or project management software
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to facilitate and communicate effectively in project team meetings
  • Team participation and experience is essential
  • Must be results oriented, self-motivated with strong multi-task capabilities and able to work with limited direct supervision
  • Must be able to analyze reports and summarize information for management decisions
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to properly prioritize projects and tasks
