Procure to Pay is the supply chain hub for National Grid, processing $15B in payments each year, 34K purchase orders among many other services performed on behalf of all National Grid employees.

What you'll do

* Coach and facilitate a team to deliver training, ensure documentation/job aids/procedures are current and processes are being followed.
* Lead Tier 2 Incident Management team, provide support/guidance/training to team resolve stakeholder inquiries and support the corporate card program.
* Manage complex issues and inquiries, share best practices, and translate business needs to provide advice and build basis of influence, and develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
* Collaborate with Global P2P team to identify and implement process improvements within the end-to-end Supply Chain process to remove waste and increase value.
* Ensures all work is performed in accordance with SLAs and metrics.
* Maintain controls and monitor data to detect data quality issues as it relates to the Procure to Pay processes.

What you'll need

* A bachelor's degree in a Business-related area and up to 3-5 years of analytical or business support experience, or equivalent work experience specific to Procure to Pay, Supply Chain experience.
* Knowledge and experience of Source to Pay end to end process, with particular attention to SAP Ariba and ERP systems.
* Ability to lead a team to achieve departmental goals within a collaborative environment.
* Strong technical skills, analytical mindset, strategic thinking, and a desire to learn.
* Ability to prioritize, multi-task, problem solve and meet shifting deadlines.
* Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively across the organization.
* Can review accuracy of own work and check that all details are completed.
* Advanced Excel skills and adaptability to new software and systems.

Annual Salary

$86,000-$101,000

This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills.
