The Data Coordinator III abstracts pertinent information from patient medical charts according to CIBMTR guidelines, and enter data into web based applications.



Responsibilities

    Code, edit and generally prepare the information according to the CIBMTR standards. Enter data into online Web based application for submission to CIBMTR making sure all queries are resolved at the time of submission Keep up to date with changing forms and procedures by checking the training manual. Assist with data queries as requested. Perform other duties as requested by supervisor.
  • May work with the Immunotherapy Department to coordinate data collection and submission into REDCap database.
  • May be required to travel to meetings and/or conferences.


Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA/BS, RRA, ART, or two year degree in the medical field or equivalent experience.
  • Three years of experience in medical records, cancer registry, or related field.
  • Strong computer skills and experience working with databases. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Medical terminology. Knowledge of statistics preferred

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Up to 1 year working with medical records
  • Previous CIBMTR experience

The hourly pay range for this position is from $28.34 to $40.35 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
