Executive Assistant The University of Pittsburgh is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive individual to serve as the Executive Assistant to the Vice Chancellor for Global Affairs and Director of the University Center for International Studies (UCIS). The incumbent will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive administrative support to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Vice Chancellor in their strategic initiatives and daily operations. The Executive Assistant should demonstrate political savviness by effectively navigating institutional dynamics, engaging stakeholders, exercising influence and persuasion, maintaining discretion, fostering cultural sensitivity, strategic networking, conflict resolution, awareness of geopolitical issues, and ethical leadership. At least 3 years of administrative or other related work is preferred. Job Summary Serves as the primary support to executive level roles and/or departments and acts as liaison and ensures confidentiality of high-level, sensitive information. Manages office workflow. Assists with strategic planning processes and administrative goals and priorities. Prepares budgetary functions and plans special events. Essential Functions * Serves as the primary support to executive level roles and/or departments. Physical Effort Little physical effort required. Duties are primarily sedentary. May be required to move objects up to 25 pounds occasionally.
