Johnson County Mental Health is looking for qualified candidates to fill a Youth Crisis Center Case Manager position at our new Youth Crisis Center program. This position is responsible for a variety of functions to help support this 24-hour facility providing services for adolescent clients. This position will provide case management, assists with treatment plan follow through and provide support during individual, group and family therapy services. This position will also work closely with the clinical team of Clinicians, psychiatrists, service coordinators and direct care staff to meet the individual mental health needs of the youth. Our first application review will begin on April 12. Job Description Responsibilities include:
Conducts assessments of individuals' background and applicable circumstances to identify needs and/or determine service eligibility; interprets and communicates relevant information to individuals, families, and other stakeholders.
Job Requirements Minimum Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field and a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required. Johnson County Government requires reference/background screening for all positions. Specified criteria may vary by Department/Agency. Preferred Job Requirements: One year of related work experience and experience or familiarity with Corrections are preferred. Education/Experience Substitutions: Experience may be substituted for degree. Education may be substituted for experience. In some instances, statutory or regulatory requirements may prohibit substitution of education and/or experience. Physical, Environmental, and Special Working Conditions: All County employees may be called upon to assist other departments in a declared emergency situation. |
