SUMMARY

The Creative Specialist will join the Brand Design team primarily focusing on delivering comprehensive designs to address identified challenges. You'll take ownership of design projects, working closely with your team to ensure successful outcomes. The Creative Specialist is responsible for executing design projects, contributing expertise to achieve design goals, and playing a vital role in the strategic aspect of our work. While you'll receive substantial hands-on support, you'll also actively learn and enhance your competencies.

If residing within commutable distance to our office in Lehi, Dallas, Houston, or Calgary, a hybrid schedule would be offered (3 days in office, 2 days work from home). Remote work may be considered for those outside of commutable distance to an office.

This role is an early career position, requiring only 2-3 years of experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Develop visual concepts and designs that align with a brand's identity and meet the needs of clients and marketing teams.
  • Help deliver design requirements, while understanding project requirements and concepts.
  • Participate in the development of our brand's visual identity, demonstrating proficiency in brand design fundamentals, and collaborating with cross-functional colleagues.
  • Create amazing experiences and pixel perfect designs, working with other designers, product, and marketing teams on a regular basis.
  • You will be expected to align your work with the overarching strategy with support from your team leads.
  • Manage multiple design tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Make timely, informed decisions that consider the facts, goals, constraints, and risks.
  • Use the best design methods, applications, software, and techniques to work on the project.
  • Communicate with senior team members to receive constructive feedback and produce quality work.
  • You have opinions, ask smart questions and champion new ideas, but you leave your ego at the door.
  • You're curious. You continually iterate and improve your designs, skills, and processes, and you like to help the rest of your team level up.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design styles and techniques.
  • Familiarity with design techniques.
  • Problem-solving aptitude with outstanding creativity skills.
  • Multitasking abilities and outstanding time management skills.
  • Understanding the visual elements such as type, layout, fonts, etc
  • Undergraduate degree in design (or related field) or comparable professional experience.
  • 2-3 years' experience in a graphic design role or similar role.
  • Experience with standard design software such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma and other related software.
