PRIMARY PURPOSE:

The Director of Revenue Management Strategy will lead a team and be responsible for high-level revenue strategy & target-setting, driving the highest possible REVPAR and profit. This includes driving analysis to determine the optimal business mix, developing a plan to achieve targets, and ensuring strategy and pricing is aligned across MGMRI. This role oversees customer and competitive intelligence, including benchmarking of comparable properties and researching customer statements to assess relative brand value.

  • Oversee and drive analysis to help determine the optimal mix of business for the company to drive profit.
  • Partner with department's Executive Directors to execute new analytics approaches for inventory pricing and yielding, mix optimization studies, operations performance reviews, financial modeling, forecasting and statistical analysis, and budgeting support.
  • Oversee the strategy for gathering and analysis of customer and competitive intelligence such as pricing.
  • Oversee analysis and implement strategies for various profit improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure Revenue management alignment with Group Sales, Travel Industry Sales, Direct Marketing, eCommerce, Enterprise Analytics, Media Optimization, and Property stakeholders to drive profits.
  • Facilitate the use of analytics and visualization across Revenue management and its stakeholders to drive innovation.
  • Develop and deliver executive level strategic analyses.
  • Perform other job duties as requested.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Four (4) years of prior relevant experience
