Status Board Operator - On Call - Bellagio

THE JOB:

As a Status Board Operator in our housekeeping department, you'll manage and update the status board to reflect room occupancy accurately. This involves marking rooms as clean, dirty, vacant, or occupied, facilitating efficient task assignment for cleaning staff. You'll collaborate closely with housekeeping supervisors and front desk personnel to prioritize room assignments based on guest needs, ensuring timely and high-quality room preparation for guest satisfaction.

THE STARTING PAY RATE: $23.00/hr

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Efficiently manage guest room statuses within our computer system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information to streamline operations and enhance guest satisfaction
• Drive seamless room allocation processes by meticulously processing Rooms Control data and efficiently distributing room assignments to managers across all shifts, ensuring optimal operational flow and guest satisfaction
• Streamline guest requests by efficiently managing rush room requests from the Front Desk and VIP Services, whether received via phone or computer printer, ensuring prompt fulfillment of special guest needs such as baby cribs, bed boards, irons, hair dryers, and more, for exceptional guest experiences
• Oversee the timely completion of Housekeeper Assistant's reports in both morning and afternoon shifts, ensuring comprehensive documentation for distribution to the Assistant Hotel Manager, fostering efficient communication and operational excellence

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Can communicate in both English and Spanish (Bilingual)
• Takes pride in their work, can multitask, and describes themselves as detail-oriented
• Proficient in computer skills, including multi-phone line usage

• At least 6 months of status board or hotel industry experience
• Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
