Contract Specialist

We're looking for a Contract Specialist to join our dynamic team. You will collaborate with peers and vendors alike to ensure each event is executed flawlessly from sourcing and contracting venues, budget reconciliation and everything in between. You keep projects running on time, on budget and have mastered the art of managing multiple priorities at once. Sound like you? Read on!

Your responsibilities



  • Work with your client on contracting an ideal venue for each event.
  • Communicate effectively with all vendor partners. You'll be responsible for contracting non-hotel venues, AV/Production vendors (and more!).
  • Think outside of the box on creative cost savings ideas. Negotiate vendor contracts and build long lasting partnerships.



You're good at



  • Negotiating costs to ensure clients budget is maintained throughout the life of the meeting.
  • Managing multiple priorities and being adaptable. You have exceptional problem-solving skills, are calm under pressure and work well in a collaborative environment.
  • Communicating and establishing long lasting, professional relationships with clients, co-workers and vendors.
  • Cvent, Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.



You might also have



  • A college degree from a 4- year institution.
  • 2+ years in financial industry event planning experience.

We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Contract Specialist is between $50,000 - $55,000 The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
