Overview

This is a full-time, hybrid role based out of our Corporate headquarters in downtown Lancaster.

Core working hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm.

Responsible for processing and reconciling various types of increasingly complex transactions affecting all types of trust accounts on the trust accounting system. Ensure that the functions performed are being handled in accordance with prescribed policies and procedures. Maintain necessary controls established to safeguard customer assets.



Responsibilities

    Monitor and balance the daily entries and activity to totals actually posted to the trust accounting system. This includes posting all outgoing wire entries, clearing all rejected entries, monitoring offsetting entries and posting corrected items. Process history reversals. Process stop payment requests. Monitor and post all incoming wire packets. Responsible for midday and end of day balancing.
  • Process all directed trading information, which includes executed trade information on employee securities and mutual funds to the trust accounting system. Communicate with Investment Trader as appropriate for complete information and settlement processing. Resolve more complex security trading problems, coordinating with internal clients, investment managers and other support services employees within critical deadlines.
  • Prepare, calculate and communicate all incoming maturities, income and corporate action proceeds to custody related accounts within very tight deadlines in order for these customers to execute trades with incoming proceeds.
  • Prepare and execute daily purchases and sales of mutual funds and money market instruments either by phone, or electronically as appropriate to vendor partners. Process all maturing items in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring necessary entries are posted to the trust accounting system, ensure funds are received, securities delivered to appropriate institutions.
  • Reconcile the position balances between trust accounting system and depository institutions. Determine how the variance has been crated through system research and proceed with corrective action or advise employee responsible. Provide supporting documentation in the correction of the item.
  • Review trust automated reports as needed, process daily mail for area, maintain files including imaged files, legal documents, archives and storage, order supplies as applicable and needed.


Qualifications

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent. Specialty: Does not apply at this level of education. (Required)

Experience

3 or more years Trust department. (Preferred)

This role may perform other job duties as assigned by the manager.
