Reporting to Executive Director of Human Resources and working closely with the HCM Executive Project Team, the Workday HCM Core Implementation Lead will be a key and crucial member of the HCM implementation team as our institution transitions from the Oracle EBS platform to a new cloud based HCM system - Workday. This is a temporary, full-time assignment, approximately four (4) months with an immediate start and an estimated end date of August 2024. The Workday HCM Core Implementation Lead will serve as the internal HRIS project manager, liaising with HR, Payroll, IT, Senior Project Manager, other internal stakeholders, and the vendor's and implementation partner's teams. They will serve as the subject matter expert in Core HCM modules such as people data, compensation, reporting, components of time and attendance and should have extensive experience in the functional aspect of HR/HRIS data administration and integrity, as well as exposure to project management/system and process analysis and configuration. As part of this temporary role, the incumbent will support the architect and design phase of the project which will entail design and configuration of business processes, reports, integration and conversion builds, unit testing, and customer confirmation sessions. Architect and Design phase begins May 2024 and runs through until November 2024; prior to the end of the temporary assignment around August 2024, this person will do a project and knowledge transfer to other project members. This position will interact with senior leadership and provide information, status updates, and strategic advice when needed. Responsibilities
Collaborate with HR, internal stakeholders, and implementation partners to document strategic vision as it relates to employee data, compensation, position/assignments, hierarchical organization structuring, job categories, reporting, and general people administration and translate it into implications / critical success factors for the implementation.
Qualifications
Work Mode: Hybrid Remote; on-site work at Old Westbury, NY campus will be required during project implementation. Minimum Salary USD $65.00/Hr. Maximum Salary USD $80.00/Hr. |
