Specimen Processing Supervisor A Specimen Processing Supervisor plays a crucial role in diagnostic, research, and medical laboratory settings, overseeing the operations and personnel involved in specimen processing. Below is a detailed job description that outlines the essential duties, qualifications, and skills required for the role: Job Summary The Specimen Processing Supervisor is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the specimen processing department. This includes supervising staff, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of specimen processing, compliance with applicable regulations, and maintaining high-quality standards. Schedule: The Sample Specimen teams' schedule is Mon-Sat 1a-9:30a. The primary schedule for the Supervisor is Tuesday -Saturday 1:00am -9:30am. However, there should be some flexibility for the Supervisor to work on Mondays as needed.
