This is a field-based position.

The opportunity

The Sr. Therapy Awareness Manager, as part of the Office of Medical Affairs, focuses on driving demand for the TCAR Procedure by enhancing community awareness and education. This role involves leading key initiatives to drive TCAR therapy adoption, including driving therapy awareness and executing regional educational programs. In partnership with the field sales team, this role is responsible for developing customized strategies to impact adoption and awareness of the TCAR procedure.

A "Day in the life"

Therapy awareness:

  • Partner with the hospitals and offices to bring awareness to their TCAR program by providing impactful resources, supporting campaign creation, and patient education around carotid artery disease, stroke, and TCAR.
  • Examples of this include:
    • Meeting with hospital marketers, providing press kits, and discussing different opportunities to bring awareness to their new or existing TCAR program in their community. Avenues will include their physician networks (PCP, neurology, cardiology, etc.) and patients.
    • Connecting with physician liaisons and business development contacts to ensure they include TCAR in their outreach and education efforts.
    • Creating custom educational materials for specific accounts (e.g. TCAR brochures, banners, rack cards, etc.)
    • Understanding a TCAR patient's pathway inside and outside of the hospital

Regional Clinic Education:

  • Organize educational events, such as peer-to-peer programs, case observation, or courses. Being successful in this role includes having KOL knowledge, educational content and slide creation, and program management.
  • Example of this include:
    • Organizing an educational course for advanced practice providers such as Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants. Responsibilities include:
      1. Identifying the educational need and appropriate faculty
      2. Creating the educational content via PowerPoint
      3. Creating the registration site, invite, and agenda
      4. Partnering with the field team to get the invites out
      5. Partnering with event manager to secure venue and any travel needs for attendees and faculty (flights and hotel)
      6. Shipping all educational materials and hand-on simulation
      7. Being on-site to ensure a seamless program and setup hand-on stations
      8. Collecting sign-in from attendees, receipts, and faculty timecards

Compliance:

  • This role sits in the Office of Medical Affairs. Therapy Awareness Managers are responsible for ensuring all activities adhere to all legal, regulatory, and HCC policies, including AdvaMed, Pharma, ACCME, and the Sunshine Act. Ensure all materials disseminated or used, including slides for educational programs, comply with Silk Road Medical's regulatory and clinical requirements. Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, local, and company regulations, policies, and procedures.

Metrics:

  • Organization will be key in this role. Therapy Awareness Manger will work with multiple territories. They will be responsible for tracking, measuring, and reporting the impact of all therapy awareness and educational activities.

What you'll bring

  • 6+ years of therapy awareness, market development, marketing, and/or clinical management experience in the healthcare industry, preferably working with vascular and/or stroke specialists.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Additional skills you have

  • Self-starter with a professional work ethic, able to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Experience organizing and implementing community outreach programs (e.g., physician network dinners, mailer campaigns, CME workshops, local media pitches).
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects with various stakeholders in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong solution orientation and analytical skills for tracking and reporting campaign effectiveness.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, presentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Social media savvy (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn).
  • Strong commercial and business acumen.
  • Preferred: knowledge of program such as Salesforce, Asana, JotForm, and CVENT
