GILBANE has an opportunity for an MEP Coordinator to support our project in Connecticut.

Do you consider yourself to be a highly technical, strong communicator with the desire to work in a team environment on complex projects? Gilbane is seeking an MEP Coordinator II to be responsible for assisting in the buyout process and leading the coordination and field installation process for MEP Systems. This role will sit primarily on the job site, with occasional travel to the office for trainings, meetings, etc.

Responsibilities

    Review MEP Scopes of Work and equipment pre-purchases for accuracy and completeness
  • Assist in the development of the MEP Construction and Commissioning Schedule
  • Enforce quality control policies and inspections on the MEP trades
  • Interface with the CX agent to ensure the CX process is being executed to meet expectations


Qualifications

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

  • BS OR MS degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
  • 5-10 years related field experience
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Ability to work in a team environment and manage project subcontractors
  • Ability to collaborate on a daily basis with the project team
  • Able to demonstrate both engineering and field supervision capabilities
  • Must be MEP construction-document and drawing literate, with knowledge of all phases of construction
  • Excellent problem solving skills and ability to adapt to changing needs
  • Must have strong knowledge and appreciation of construction safety processes and ability to enforce the project safety plan
  • OSHA 30 hour certified

Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
For Connecticut this ranges from $92,400.00-$127,100.00 plus benefits and retirement program.
