Research Program Assistant II

We are seeking aResearch Program Assistant who will support The SOREE (Structural Opportunities to Rebuild Equitable Environments) Study - a project that examines the impact of structural racism on inequitable food environments and health, through the lens of urban planning and policy in community across the country.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conducting key informant interviews and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Assisting or leading research reporting and dissemination, including policy briefs, scientific manuscripts, and preparation of presentations for diverse audiences.
  • Communicating with study team members across multiple sites.
  • Meeting regularly with the Principal Investigator to review data accuracy an overall study progress.

Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Must be able to work independently and as part of team.
  • Have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Exhibit attention to detail and have an ability to adapt and be flexible to change in a fast-paced research environment.
  • Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative data management software is also necessary.


Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or graduation equivalent.
  • Two years related experience.
  • Additional education may substitute for required experience, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree with related graduate research.

Role/Level/Range: ACRO40/E/02/CC
Starting Salary Range: $15.50 - $26.00 HRLY ($23.00 HRLY targeted; Commensurate with experience)
Employee group: Casual / On Call
Schedule: Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm, with occasional weekend hours as needed
