Job Description:

Oregon State Treasury is recruiting for the position of Senior Human Resources Business Partner. The person in this role will work on a team with three other HR professionals and will focus primarily on classification and compensation, employee relations, and policy administration.

Work Schedule

This position will have the opportunity for a hybrid (remote and in-office) work location schedule; in-office work will be predominately from Treasury's Salem office .

The incumbent will be working primarily from home with the expectation to be in our Salem office one day a month, in our Tigard office the first Wednesday of each quarter as well as when business needs dictate the need to be in the office.

Salary Range

$71,496 - $110,712 annually

Job Classification

This position is classified as a Human Resources Analyst 3 . This position is management service position .

Required Minimum Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in human resource management, organizational behavior or Development, business or public administration, the applied behavioral sciences, industrial relations or a job-related course of study determined by the appointing authority; and three years of Human Resources professional-level experience related to the position; OR

  • Valid certification as a professional in Human Resources awarded by the Human Resources Certification Institute and four years Human Resources professional-level experience related to the position; OR

  • Six years Human Resources experience related to the position. Four of the six years must have been at the professional-level.

  • A master's degree in any of the above listed courses of study may substitute for one year of professional-level experience.

  • The State Certified Human Resources Professional (SCHRP) certification, awarded by the Oregon Chief Human Resources Office, substitutes for six months of human resource professional-level experience.

  • Valid Certification as a SHRM Certified Professional awarded by a nationally recognized organization, substitutes for one year of human resource professional-level experience.
