GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB SAFETY SENSITIVE: Yes FINGERPRINTING REQUIRED: Yes This is a contract position governed by the terms and conditions of the employment agreement. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Opening and closing of assigned facility, care of the facility and the assigned equipment, public relations, collection of fees and registrations. Knowledge of modern office equipment and various computer programs and applications. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Ability to perform duties independently with minimal supervision and review. Monitor all vessels within the marina for safety and security. Assist with sanitary pump outs of vessels, and operation of VHF radio. Ability to work outside in the elements. Marine knowledge preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Performs other related duties as assigned by Supervisor. THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE EVENINGS, WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS. Individual(s) assigned to this classification must report to work per their assigned schedule. Parks and Recreation staff must be willing to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High School diploma or GED. Must possess a valid state driver's license upon hire and obtain a valid Florida driver's license within thirty (30) days of hire or promotion.
