Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Westminster, MD

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000

Direct Hire position with full benefits

9/80 work week with every other Friday off

Job Description:

Accounts
payable specialists with strong communication, problem-solving and
organizational skills, as well as the ability to multitask and adjust to
changing priorities.

Duties
include:

Reviewing
invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to processing

Entering and
uploading invoices into accounting software

Processing
invoices and check requests in an accurate and timely manner

Maintaining
invoice copies, purchase orders and approvals

Researching and
resolving invoice discrepancies and issues

Communicating
with vendors regarding payment status, invoice requests and inquiries as needed

Providing
supporting documentation for audits

Assisting with
month-end closing

Researching and
resolving accounts payable or accounts receivable issues with customers or
vendors

Updating and
reconciling the sub-ledger to the general ledger

Required:

Ability to
multitask effectively.

High school
diploma or GED required - AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred.

Must have 5
years of experience in field.

Proficient in
Microsoft Excel, Access, Word

MFG/PRO &
ADP payroll processing preferred.
