The Electronic Systems Laboratory (ELSYS) Systems Engineering Research Division (SERD) is currently seeking a Systems Engineer Co-op student in the Enterprise and Open Systems Architecture (EOSA) Branch. The EOSA Branch authors, analyzes, and integrates enterprise and open system architectures to support our research sponsors across systems engineering activities.

This position supports the Department of Defense (DoD) in its digital transformation to realize, manage, and improve enterprise and open systems. Candidates will become familiar with Systems Engineering processes, tools, and standards to advance various DoD digital transformation research efforts.

Intern

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or a related field.
• 2.0 or higher cumulative GPA
• Must be registered for Full-time Internship Credit

• Experience in 1 or more programming languages
• Task / team leadership experience
• Strong math skills and ability to learn complex engineering concepts
• Familiarity with Linux and open source tools
• Configuration management tools
• Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas

40 hours per week

Due to our research contracts with the US federal government, candidates for this position are required to be US Citizens.

Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain an active security clearance.

Housing and relocation assistance are not available for this position.
