The Role:

We are seeking an Account Manager to join our dynamic North America Material Solutions team. In this role, you will be responsible for achieving sales objectives, gaining market share and profitability levels in the Semiconductor Materials industry. This role will also foster and build customer relationships, gain greater customer intimacy, and drive our overall value as a strategic partner.

What You'll Do:

  • Develops account strategies to achieve sales objectives.
  • Aligns Material Solutions and customer technology roadmaps.
  • Operates as an external expert to customers in their strategic planning processes.
  • Serves as an internal expert communicating the customer's business and technology requirements driving new product development.
  • Manages sales pipeline value by managing marketing qualified leads to maximize revenue, margin and market share.
  • Drives pricing strategies and manages contract and price negotiations process focusing on effective ASP management.
  • Monitors, supports and manages channel partners; ensures channel alignment for accounts that are co-managed by Direct and Indirect sales channels.
  • Operates as primary point of escalation in addressing and resolving customer issues; escalates matters appropriately to ensure key stakeholder visibility.
  • Provides timely and accurate monthly customer forecast.
  • Networks at local events, trade shows and technical conferences.
  • Collaborates across divisions to leverage the full suite of Materials Solutions technologies, establishing best in class customer solutions.

What We Seek:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a technical discipline; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years progressive sales experience in Semiconductor Materials industry
  • Strong financial acumen and deep understanding of the market, existing business trends, competitive landscape, market size, target customers, their problems and needs.
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills, as well as interpersonal skills to communicate, influence and lead others.
  • Technical understanding of customer's needs and ability to move opportunities from an engagement to an evaluation.
  • Self-starter who is curious, agile and creative.
  • Ability to travel up to 25-40%
