Overview:


We are seeking a highly skilled Product Scientist (aka Decision Scientist) to join our team. As a Product Scientist, you will play a critical role in leveraging data to drive decision-making processes and enhance product development strategies. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SQL, programming languages such as Python or R, code versioning software (Git), statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and product requirements.

Utilize SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets to derive actionable insights.

Develop predictive models and algorithms using statistical modeling techniques and machine learning algorithms.

Implement and maintain codebase using programming languages such as Python or R, ensuring scalability and efficiency.

Work closely with product managers and engineers to integrate data-driven solutions into product development lifecycle.

Conduct A/B testing and experimentation to evaluate the effectiveness of product features and enhancements.

Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders.

Perform ad-hoc analysis and provide analytical support for strategic decision-making.

Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data science methodologies and technologies.

Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing within the organization.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.

Proven experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques.

Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.

Strong programming skills in Python or R for data analysis and model development.

Experience with code versioning software, such as Git, for collaborative development.

Solid understanding of statistical concepts and methodologies.

Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.

Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.

Previous experience in product analytics or decision science roles is preferred.
