We are looking for an Strategic Acquisition Program Support (Senior/Senior Consultant) to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position is an experienced individual who is hard working with the ability to excel in a challenging, fast-paced government contractor environment. The position location is in Huntsville, AL. This position is contingent upon award.

Overview

TheStrategic Acquisition Program Support (Senior/Senior Consultant) will serve as the day-to-day lead on projects with a customer lens to problem solving. * Assist clients in making strategic decisions and implementing changes, as well as help identify and minimize risks, allocate resources effectively, anticipate challenges, and enhance operational effectiveness.

Responsibilities:



  • Develop strategic project plans associated with an acquisition program, including supportive project schedules, interfacing with key stakeholders, and process roadmaps, etc.
  • Identify and document requirements coordinating with key stakeholders to drive buy-in and ensure the documentation is well-informed.
  • Support development of Platform Acquisition Plans for each program based on requirements, tracking key regulatory requirements to support efficient and transparent acquisition process.
  • Update business management systems with project status data to facilitate reporting, workload management, and coordination of activities with other business domains.
  • Support routine Project Management Reviews (PMR) to report status, identify project risks, and evaluate overall progress towards meeting project objectives; and own development of Monthly Status Reporting (MSR).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of professional experience
  • Active Secret Security clearance
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Strong creative, writing, editing, organizational, strategic planning, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable presenting at executive levels, critical and strategic thinking



Preferred Qualifications:




  • Advanced degree in Business or other related field.
  • Continuous learner, proactive problem solver, autonomous worker, and an active listener with the ability to represent the organization with high-level clients.
  • Previous Consulting experience in Government Public Sector
  • Strategic Communications, Human Capital, Marketing, Project/Program management experience
  • PMP certification
