Position Summary

The Coordinator, Satellite locations reports to the Assistant Director of Satellite Training and:

  • Provide classroom and logistical support of the offsite satellite training center activities.

  • Collaborate with the Schools of faculty to deliver workforce training programs and services that connect participants with in-demand occupations and/or advanced college credit certificates and degrees.

  • Supports intake assessment provided to potential students and serves as point of contact for internal and external stakeholders using center services.

  • Strong collaborator who can work in a matrix environment and team setting to accomplish goals in a fast-paced setting.

  • Exhibits professional conduct and skilled contribution in the workplace.

  • Demonstrates a high degree of proficiency in performing job assignments and uses time allotted for completion of tasks efficiently.

  • Utilizes excellent interpersonal, listening, oral and written communication skills in order to communicate effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders and constituents in the Dallas College community network.

  • Strong knowledge and experience providing effective customer service. Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

  • Must be able to comply with district policies/procedures as well as applicable local, state, and federal rules and regulations.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Two years of college coursework and High School Diploma plus three (3) years of related work experience and/or experience in a teaching environment.

  • Official transcripts are required.

  • Some positions may require specific state licensed/certifications depending on the discipline.

  • A current and valid Texas driver's license is required.

  • An official transcript will be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide training programs and logistical support of center operations.

  • Responsible for performing periodic inventory and maintaining accurate inventory for equipment, tools, materials, and supplies. Receives, stores, and issues tools, supplies or equipment associated with courses or programs.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide daily support logistical operations needed for implementation and ongoing delivery of services.

  • Performs community outreach and engagement necessary to recruit potential students.

  • Provides customer services during operational hours.

  • Completes required Dallas College Professional Development training hours per academic year.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.
