Under direct supervision with some independence, performs work and administrative duties specific to a department or program.



Responsibilities

    Assists in the implementation of department/study policies and procedures
  • Serve as department/study liaison and provide information to Fred Hutch staff and outside organizations
  • Make accurate and complete postings to department/study records and maintain files and filing system in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Maintain updated policies and procedures manuals.
  • May monitor the program budget and report variances to supervisor.


Qualifications

Required:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Under general supervision, ability to use initiative and sound judgment in carrying out responsibilities
  • Ability to communicate verbally in person, on the phone, and in writing in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to use a mouse, navigate computer programs, enter data into computer systems in accurately and efficiently
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, complex healthcare environment
  • Ability to establish professional relationships with patients, families, staff and providers

Preferred:

  • Demonstrated customer service skills

The hourly pay range for this position is from $26.82 to $38.18, which includes the per diem differential, and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center offers employees access to a retirement savings plan, an employee assistance program, and paid sick leave (1 hour for every 30 hours worked).
